Tenor VoIP Gateway

The Tenor Gateway is the first VoIP MultiPath gateway that intelligently switches

calls over both IP networks and the PSTN in order to ensure high voice quality.

Unlike conventional VoIP gateways that only route calls over IP networks, the

Tenor Gateway can transparently switch calls over to the PSTN if IP network

congestion or a device failure impacts voice quality.

Digital (T1/E1) and analog versions of the Tenor Gateway are available. Both

systems are completely interoperable. Systems can be upgraded in increments of

eight channels. When a single chassis has reached the maximum port density,

multiple units may be stacked. There is no limit to the number of units that can be

grouped.

AS, AX and DX VoIP Gateways

The next generation of compact, high density gateways is here. All of the same

features as the Tenor line and more are packed into these powerful new gateways.

An integrated gatekeeper and border element are available in all Tenor, DX and

AX systems. Conforming to the H.323 protocol, the gatekeeper provides crucial

interoperability for today’s networks. Its services include admission control, call

management and control, address translation and bandwidth control. The Tenor

MultiPath Gateway also offers a redundant border element that conforms to H.323

Annex G, providing an extremely scalable solution.
